NAWIC is an organization of women that are employed in the construction industry. The Chapter meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at varied locations in the Omaha, Nebraska area.

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) offer its members education support and networking to help advance their careers in construction, build their technical skills and become leaders.
The Greater Omaha Chapter No. 116 was founded in January 1965 by the following member firms:

The Chapter has been growing ever since and has been recognized Regionally and Nationally for its
Professional Education Program, Construction Industry Projects, and NEF Block Kids Competition.
Today, the Chapter continues to grow and recruit new members and member firms.
